Another mouth for the British taxpayer to feed & raise, as will her spouse & offspring. Its never ending.

The fact Britain still has a royal family genuinely irritates me. The fawning over them from a large percentage of the public is equally as annoying.

Oh well. You'll get over it in time. Perhaps try and concentrate on what makes you happy & don't bother yourself with what gives others a happy smile.
