Commissaries aren't staffed by the military. They're staffed mostly by military spouses, the kids that bag the groceries work only for tips in most places.

Thanks :) I've applied for financial aid and the pell grant is included in that. What I do qualify for is a 6 month course to qualify me as a pharmacy technician through the mycaa. I get it for free...
