Re: Citizenship Application Timeline

Probably not, although I'm not sure it makes things that much quicker. I'm in Victoria and was originally given a test date - in Victoria - for the end of May, but with the option to do the One Pass...

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline

Did the citizenship test this morning in Vancouver, getting 19/20. I was on the One Pass program, so the ceremony was scheduled for this afternoon at 1:30pm.

Nearly 7 years after moving to Canada,...

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline

Our applications might be different though - for instance, there's only me on mine and no other family, so it's only one person - not sure if you're applying as a family?

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline

Actually, now that I think about it - I'm starting to wonder if it's worth doing it all on one day in Vancouver in July, or doing the test here in May and then waiting an indeterminate amount of time...

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline

Just got my date through for my citizenship test - at the end of this month (May 29th). My timeline is virtually identical to conjonway's above - they received my application the day after (18th...

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline

Another one here who has now officially mailed in their citizenship application!

It's been a few years since I posted, but I signed up here before I even applied for my TWP way back in 2012 :-D

Re: PNP Applicants (Within Canada) - Share your timelines

It's dependent on your application, obviously, but the status update means that it has been picked up off the huge pile and is being worked on. That will include background checks, etc., which will...

Re: PNP Applicants (Within Canada) - Share your timelines

Things start moving when they update it to "We started processing your application on...". FWIW, mine took nearly a year (July 29, 2013 to July 8, 2014) but once it got to that, it all went...

Re: PNP Applicants (Within Canada) - Share your timelines

Interestingly, mine requested just the 'personal information pages' (or words to that effect, can't remember it exactly), so all I sent was a photocopy of the photo/ID page of my passport - and they...

Re: Application now 'In Process'

It's actually only 11 months from AOR, and 14 months since I mailed my original application off (not including the time taken for the PNP nomination). Considering the posted times for London are 29...

Cheers,

Andy.
