Re: Citizenship Application Timeline
I sent in my application in July 2018, got AOR on 21st November.
I have tried every possible way of entering my info on the online checker and it always says unable to find your application.
I have no idea what i'm doing wrong - I have made sure I select the specific country and not the generic UK (although I have tried that too) and nothing works.
I have an online account - but can't seem to find an option for checking my citizenship application - just PR etc.
Any suggestions?

Sorry If I'm just suggesting things you're already doing!:
1. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do
2. Make sure you use the correct number (ie: select whether it's the application no. or the client id no. etc)
.3 Sounds like you've already tried this - put in England Scotland (if that's where you were born) - I kept trying with United Kingdom and it wouldn't work.

I think I had the same problem with my PR application if I remember correctly.

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline
My Timeline so far:
- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 23, 2018.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 6, 2018. (I never received an e mail for this, nothing in my spam mail either)
- We started processing your application on November 20, 2018.
- We sent you correspondence on November 26, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required. (Finger Prints, lucky me, received letter for finger prints on 30th Nov)
- December 6th, 2018, Finger Prints taken and submitted to RCMP. Supposedly takes RCMP up to 72 hrs to review and forward finger prints to IRCC Vancouver

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline
I didn't get any notice for 6 months after 'processing your application' was listed. The only notice I got was a fingerprint request in that 6 months. You may not get this request so should be ok (within the normal timeline expectations) they're just quite slow.

Its good to know I’m not the only one, thank you, but it’s frustrating to see others who applied after me have been processed before, they probably have their reasons but they do work in mysterious ways!!

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline
It took them 7 months to go from processing to notice to appear for us - just hang in there. The office that is processing it can make a difference too.
I saw somebody here had their test in the morning and took an oath in the afternoon whereas it took 2 months for us to get a date, and now due to take the oath in 10 days. ( they did say 2-5 months though).

Re: Citizenship Application Timeline
I don't understand why there are two members on that had their applications delivered and received on the 12th and 17th October and they have had theirs acknowledged before Christmas and yet mine was a week later and Ive still heard nothing? I know was delivered because I paid for Fedex to deliver it and got signature and proof of delivery
Has anyone had the worst case scenario happen, where it isn't ever acknowledged due to their error?
