skilled employment assessment by EngAust is optional. If you have not already done it, don't loose any more time and directly apply to DIAC. Even if EngAust says you have the skilled employment, DIAC...

I don't think that is considered as deported. As far as I know, deportation needs a court order of some sorts.

This is "refused entry", which is less severe, IMO.

They can't trace your application until you get the CID number. Wait 2 weeks after your application has arrived at their office and give them a call to find out your CID number, if you haven't...

You should give them a call to find out. Alternatively, there is a form that you can use to request assessment of skilled employment. That form is for people who have already got their skills...

The assessment of skilled employment is optional. EngAust is assigned to give an opinion of your work experience. DIAC has the final say on granting points for your overseas work experience.

As far as I know, EngAust will send you another letter for an extra fee. Better to give them a call.

In any case, you should send them a pre-paid courier so that they'll use that to post it to...
