Our I-751 was trasferred to the VSC from the TSC at the end of February and was approved a month later on March 31, 2008. They have a lot of TSC transferees so that may bog them down a little bit.

We were very surprised to have recieved the new card in the mail today a week after it was approved. It appears that there are a few things that they can do in a reasonable amount of time.

You're right about 1 and 2 but I would have thought that they would have questioned her a little more closely about her adjustment application in view of these circumstances.

We needed my wife's birth certificate translated for her AOS so we just did it ourselves and then had a friend who was fluent in both languages sign that it was an accurate translation. No problems!
