Re: Britain: an economic train wreck

I agree with the EU concept but how unfettered immigration came into the picture beats me. If 10% of the British population are on benefits (say 6M) and we still allow their work to be taken by...

Re: Britain: an economic train wreck

Britain's debt fuelled binge of the last few decades created the illusion of wealth.[/QUOTE]

Teheran airport - watch out with a Brit passport

Getting back to Baku from Oz was a nightmare at Teheran airport. I know, I know...should have gone to Baku direct from Dubai but 500$ saving on air ticket was too good to pass up.
You get off the...

Re: The Great Global Warming Con Job.....

Any one brought up the effect of volcanoes on GHG's. Don't they have the most effect with SO2 actually dropping the global temperatures. So what do we do - bung up Mt Pinatabo? Tell Mt Helena she is...

Re: Bob Brown gone

Bob Brown rose to fame by opposing a hydro electric scheme for the Franklin river in Tasmania. The pro's and cons of this is available somewhere but surely a viable option could have been worked out...

Re: Kevin Rudd, what a class act.

Re: Kevin Rudd, what a class act.
