Same happened to myself, then later (by choice) changed to French P De C. Whether the infringement is stored somewhere or not, no transfer of points occurred.

It may be that the salary tax stays in the place of employment.
If for example it was Zurich Switzerland then your husbands tax on salary would be in Zurich....
