I've just come back from two weeks holiday in Vancouver and Victoria and what I've noticed from this visit and previous visits is the lack of violence and punch ups when the bars and clubs kick out....

I don't read the daily mail, I try to stick to broadsheets or at least the daily star ;)

As for living in Cheltenham, I'm not from hesters way, I grew up in the other end of town around...

I'm currently living and working in Cheltenham on the edge of the Cotswolds where I grew up, but I've lived in London, bournemouth, Manchester and Liverpool.

As the title says really, has anyone moved to Canada, specifically BC and taken a drop in salary for an increase in quality of life? I'm set to do this and just wondered if anyone has done the same...

Such as?? I'm more interested in my outdoor sports but I'm not a completely uncultured. I mean how many times can you go to the Tate modern, the science museum, natural history museum or theatre...

It seems my observations were wrong. So are you saying that the list is completely wrong? or just that the UK has a better sense of comunity within its towns and cities, the people are more friendly...
