Hi my husband has taken his xbox 360 to canada and plug it in and it worked for a bit and then went off and wont go back on again. Can anyone advise
me what could be wrong with it and does he need some sort of adapter to
get it to work properly out there.

It's broken. He needs throw it in the bin and buy a new PS3.

If the power button is flashing red instead of green then it's most likely broken. This happened with me about 8 months ago and Microsoft repaired it for free even though the two year warranty had expired. best to contact their servicing dept. If not, just get a reconditioned one from a video game store and swap the hard drive over so he doesn't lose his files and gamertag.
