Thank you both very much for the advice - Hubby and i have decided to drive down so I don't have to run the risk, and because the flights jumped up by $150 each!

My USC husband and I (UKC) filed an "Adjustment Packet" (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 and I-864) on 2nd of Sept 2011 (as I entered the US under the VWP) and we received I-797C (NOA)...
