I received exactly the same letter in Jan04, three weeks before my interview. Then 2 months later I receive another interview date for the mid of Apr 04.
Vermont was my office as well.

It's absolutely not true.
You can make a transfer from any russian bank to any US account.
They guarantee the safety of the transfer. I've done that many times.

I was not talking about the fingerprints.
Name check is completely different story.
FBI process' fingerprints usually in 1-2 days .

Yesterday I receive a letter from FBI.
I faxed an inquire about my "name check" process on Dec.2nd. They sent their answer on Dec.9th. Pretty fast!!
It turned out they completed my checking on July...

After exactly 8 months after my interview I finally got the Oath letter!!!
I still can't believe it!
Good present fot the New Year.
Oath ceremony will be in 3 weeks :)

No news yet. I got new fingerprints appointment letter and went to get fingerprinted a week ago (the first one had expired after 15 months). Continue to wait.

I'm waiting from the beginning of April. The other day I went to the second fingerprints since fingerprints are expired after 15 months for INS.
One month of waiting is nothing yet!

I was told it's "name check". I contacted my local congress representative but all they did it's just told me that I had to wait more and INS didn't know how much longer.

I applied for citizenship in March 2002.
I'm a female. Local office is Newark, NJ.
Fingerprints - August 2002,
Interview - Feb 2003 (descheduled),
New Interview date - April 2003.
I'm waitimg...
