Can anyone recommend a form checking service for our cec application? I would not trust any of the sites I've found without some form of recommendation.

Why buy? I only know 1 family that own their own house in Vancouver. Everyone else owns elsewhere and rents that out to keep a foot in the market. they are waiting for a day when the Vancouver market...

We are in a very similar situation to you but a bit further down the line. I was back out there last week and finally have been offered a job, which kick starts the LMO. We have 2 small kids too.

set321go: I am no expert on your situation but I THINK you need your employer to support you through PNP before you apply for PR. You can't do it on your IEC. Like I say, I THINK.

Ah: So I can't apply for PR under the LMO? I thought I could. As i understood it, LMO basically gets me a 3 year tempotary work permit which in turn buys be the time to go through the PR process.

I had a similar issue with 1 way flights before. I just ended up booking an open return. it costs more but you know you'll use the return leg at some point. I used it for a surprise family Christmas...

Thank you all for replies so far. Broadly my take on it that our kids would have a much better chance at life in BC generally, but just wanted to hear about others experience too.
