We were quoted $14,000 to move from NB, Canada to UK. So we phoned Elite Shipping in the Uk (who moved us here last year), and we're in the process of discussing a quote - looks like it might be...

Not really, within 4km to nearest village, with a supermarket etc, (and McCain's HQ) about 1km off the "four-laner" (dual-carriageway to you and me!), Private enough without being middle of nowhere. ...

Warm???? My heating automatically kicks in at any temp less than 10C - overnight they used to be COLDER in the UK! They've been out in -13 here and loved it :thumbup:

While in the UK Lorry arrived with container on it, but it was 6ft off the floor and it had no way to lower it to the ground!! We were lucky that we had...

When we made up our inventory we added at the bottom something to the effect of - All outdoor items/tools have been thoroughly washed as per requirements - our container was never checked :D
