Re: When does the greencard come in the mail?

I was told it'd take 3-6 months for my Greencard to arrive and was told to phone USCIS if I had not received it after 6 months. I received the IR-1 approval stamp in my passport, but was definitely...

Re: Documents for CR-1 interview.. (DCF London Embassy)

I've not heard of people taking their spouse's original US birth cert? Oh man, am I going to have to get him to overnight it for stupid amounts of $$? :(

Documents for CR-1 interview.. (DCF London Embassy)

Okay, I've been reading different stories about how people were asked for X item at interview which wasn't listed as something to bring for a CR-1 interview. So I want to write down exactly what I'm...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

If you're not going to help, why bother responding to a question at all? If you're that annoyed by people whose Googlefu is not as good as others, surely skipping over their threads/post/queries is...

Re: Traveling to US after approval

Okay, I am pretty sure I've got this all right, but I've yet to do it myself so hopefully someone can confirm I've got it all correct. Basically, on arrival, he will hand over the brown envelope and...

Re: Grumbles about the londonIV email / premium rate info line -regards to interview

They're definitely working backwards. I got my interview date over the phone even though the lady on the other end specifically said my DS-230/DS-2001 (I'm doing DCF) and medical results hadn't been...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

It took me 3 weeks to hear from the IV Unit about my case number from when I got my approval from USCIS. It's pretty normal really. You no longer need to contact USCIS though, you're done and dusted...

Re: Interview soon - my checklist

Yes they ask for it, it needs to be signed.

As far as I know they do not ask for proof of relationship for spouse visas, but I plan to bring a few photos & our son's birth cert as "proof".

Re: Interview soon - my checklist

I wouldn't risk getting your photos done on the day of your interview personally.. The photo booth might be broken!

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

Our case was expedited as my husband was in the USAF and his Commander heard about us doing the visa process and suggested that he send an expedite request for us. We weren't going to say no so we...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

I realise I'm lucky that my case got expedited, but my son has not seen his Dad for half his life now and it's very frustrating. There is only so much a person can experience through short videos and...

Re: I-130 approved

It'll now take about 3-4 weeks for London to receive your paperwork and issue you with a case number. You can get this case number by either phoning/emailing the IV unit or you can wait an extra week...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

So I sent my DS-230/DS-2001 forms 2 weeks ago & had my medical last week. I phoned the US Embassy this morning to see if they've received my medical results and the bloke I spoke to said that the...

Re: DCF Filing in Nov/Dec/Jan

The website says just Part 1, but I accidentally sent both parts. Then I received the letter from them a few days later that said to send both parts of DS-230 so if I were you I'd just send both....

Re: Medical report to embassy before other forms
