Can you expand on the type of funds you have chosen in UK SIPP? Obviously keen to avoid exposure to PFIC. So what would identify a "non-PFIC" on AJ Bell? How do I know what to avoid?

As this is a SIPP, are you able to invest in UK funds offered by AJBell and avoid any PFIC complications?
Or do you only invest in individual companies?

We were just originally intending to do cross-border visits to keep green card active. But on chatting to attorney decided to go re-entry permit (hey they getting paid by company!)

thanks for the info. We will continue to file a US tax return each year as we will be renting our US house. Also we have the travel document 131, just to cover our longer term absence until we return.

Hubby & I are currently in US with green cards. We are shortly moving to Canada with work (have filed 131 to preserve status!) When we leave our daughter will stay in US as she is attending college....

Thank you all for the input. Naively thought I could file seperatly for my pension as in the uk. So it has to be fully joint and I pay tax rate taking into account allowances/tax :)

We recently moved not far from Montrose and I have been on a bus 3 times now! They are clean, quick and regular, Dollar twenty five per trip :D Cheaper than paying for parking lol

Had a visa interview in Nassau two years ago. Long wait outside, longer wait inside but straightforward. You call back next day to collect your passport, so a chance to stay at the Atlantis !
