when wife and I arrived in M'sia two years ago we used UKForex to exchange GBP to MYR, with no probs at all

panic over for me..Maybank finally replied to say can send more than RM10,000 at a time .Just need to do it over the counter and not online

yes..may go down the HSBC route. contacted them last week online, no response as yet .Hopefully, should be simple to close the account once its served it's purpose.

Hi guys,
on a similar note, we are selling up and heading back to UK to live.

Pretty difficult to find a forex that will change MYR to UKP.Seems UKForex can't help for the return trip.

An indian guy came and offered to cut our grass for RM 100 after i answered the door....
