As Alfresco said it isn't that cheap to replace everything here, we shipped our stuff for that reason which we finally got on the 30th Dec 2011! It was half a 20ft container that we got through...

Hey,

£3000 for the dog is right from UK to Australia, but then there is boarding in quarantine once you arrive. That is $30 a nite roughly....think it is now longer than the 30days when we brought...

I am guessing its the same drink was out in the UK b4 I left and I havnt seen it many places, the one time I did drink it was in a bar as it was the only energy drink they had. It tastes horrible...

Byron was at the Vets today. Heartworm Injection was the only thing he really needed as all other vaccinations are uptodate for coming here! Also bought some tick and flee worm treatment as...

Should probably looked at ur username better! Forgot u told me u lived on the Sunshine coast!

Also we had no problems with Dogtainers today BTW dog got up happy and safe!! Will update you the vet...

Yeah I could understand wanting the more space!! At only being 5'7" I tend to be ok in most economy seats!!

One thing to bear in mind wit CDG is that it can be a nightmare, I have nearly missed...

Defo use a seperate company for insurance...it saves a fair bit, we used Letton Percival and dont have any complaints yet!

We shipped our stuff with Crown relocations in the end and they quoted...

I think if you set it up for an address in Oz thats when you will need proof you stay there, from what I can remeber very little is needed for setting the account up before arrival and when you do...

Not sure if its been mentioned or not but bring a UK 4 plug power strip or something that you can put and Australian plug on when you arrive! Much easier for charging phones/laptops etc than needing...

Thanks for the responses! Trying to work out if it is worth shipping our fridge, washing machine etc but since our container will be about 8weeks behind us and we will need stuff like that asap!!
