Boom. Waiting in my inbox this morning was my Electronic Visa confirmation. So Just over 2 months total. Most of that time was waiting to be allocated an officer. Good Luck all.

I was allocated my case officer 4th August and was instructed to go to the VFS office to have my Passport authenticated.

Has anyone done the new online application? I applied mine in to the system the 15th July. I received confirmation that the application had been received on the 17th July and payment was confirmed...

How long did it take to get picked up by the handling person? I have not been told it has been picked up by anyone yet.

I currently live in Dubai Marina, but will be forced to move to AD by my employer. I have no idea of where to look. I like the Marina because of all pedestrian area. No crossing roads or getting run...

My favourite little haunt "The Village gallery" on Prince Sultan Street has closed, does anyone know of any decent shops in the city? or even where the Village moved to?

first saw this mail about 8 weeks ago... I have traveled out a couple of times since and have had to show my right index finger to the scanner.... there were no 4 hour delays. just the norm.
