Default Doha bars?

Hi, this is probably a topic that I could get an answer to if I researched this forum thouroughly, but I am only in Doha for one (forced) night tonight and wondered if any of you experienced posters could recommend a decent place for a few drinks? I also have only the fairly casual clothes that I arrived in, so anywhere requiring a smarter dress code would perhaps not be practical! Thanks in advance

In a fairly grim hotel, Doha Grand, which I think is near Bin Mahmoud, but a taxi ride from anywhere!

Thanks for the advice. I am dramatically underdressed for posh. I have heard about a Belgian Beer place, which sounds great for the drink but don't know what kind of place it would be

Go to the Sheridan Hotel, in the Basement (Irish bar) you need your passport to get in

Thanks everyone for your replies. As i say, I had a one night enforced stopover in Doha, thanks to flight out of KSA being delayed. So some of us in the same position went out. And (thanks britexpat76) we chose the Radison Blu Orion, mostly because it was close by walking distance, and had a great time. So thanks guys, advice really appreciated and acted upon! Chalk another one up for The Sandpit!
