Hi just a quick update, I rang PEER and they do run a 7 day course to get your license (not sure if its a fitters license or a full one?) at a cost of $790 or $1435 if you want all the books...

I have read the attached forum post and have to say I am in total dismay. The licensing system seems to be a total joke. If some of the questions are as ridiculous as that then no doubt ill end up...

Hi Steveo it's at Balga collage. They were the only option I was given. It's a 3 hour theory and 4 hour practical which are done on separate days. Just trying to get a feel of what there testing you...

Yeah I believe actually trying to answer his questions would be far more productive.......

Ill start,

1 - High voltage means less current, which means less in the way of loss due to heat etc.

Thanks for your help. Is there a way to bridge ur licience from fitter to mechanic once in Oz? Also are u able to work as a spark whilst Doing your gap training?

Oh right I see, so things such as 888 forms, defacto relationship evidence etc I would just scan in and send them electronically. Stuff like pictures would I beable to do the same?

So are you saying you complete the online application, your sponser then fills out their online application and then you just wait to be assigned a case officer before you send any supporting...
