The previous comment is correct. Those needs to be on "Goods to follow" list. Just for the information, goods mentioned in "to follow" list can be brought anytime in future once you settle down :)

I actually chatted with icbc in BC and they mentioned that my US auto insurance is good for 30 days. This duration should be good enough to get RIV inspection and modifications done.
