Hi

I have completed 12 months of my PR in the past 5 years. It expires in Nov 2012, so I can't get the required 2 years in 5 completed. Is there anyway that you can extend it.

I would imagine not. Usually all foreign forces require 3years UK service plus completed the Police training.

Hi,

Yes we completed 10 months from 2007 to 2008, then returned to UK. Will need to get 14 months in before Nov 2012..I assume that they are strict down to the day!

Thanks for the quick replies, we hope to get back July this year meaning we will do 2 years in 5, so should be OK! Is it 730 days or 704 days?

Hi,

Dilemma...got PR in Oct 2007, expires Nov 2012. We had to return to UK for 2.5 yrs, unforseen. Now want to return to Canada. If we get the full 2 years in before Nov 2012, we OK? When back...

Hi,

If you completed 1 yr in Canada had to leave and want to return within the 5 years, and your PR card is still valid is that OK. Mine expires in Nov 2012, so need to complete another 12 months...
