Re: Nurse Specialist Jobs in GTA Ontario

Definitely spend some time looking at how you want to practice out here. I've not spoken to any british nurse practitioner who has been able to get a NP job in Canada without doing almost the entire...

Re: Wanting to nurse in Vancouver

It probably depends where you trained and when. You'll probably get a bit more advice with a few more details.
The NNAS process will assess your pre-registration training and then the regulator...

Re: UK Nurse looking to emigrate to Ontario

Let me know if there is any more specific info I can give you. The agency I got in touch with was called PRN staffing solutions. Melane has been incredibly helpful! Good luck. Only 6 weeks before I...

Re: UK Nurse looking to emigrate to Ontario

Hi Dawn
I had some great advice from the only recruitment agency that would touch an IEN without residency. Unfortunately, in the short term I won't be working in the bright lights of the city, they...

Re: Moving to Yukon Territory as a Registered Nurse

Re: Canadian registered nurse exam

In response to the original question, I've recently gone through this whole process <<<SNIP>>>
After NNAS is complete and the province you have applied for have assessed your NNAS report and your...

Thanks to everyone for their replies!
I'm actually going to be living in Dawson City and will likely be there for at least a couple of years. I'm going to be starting work at the end of November and...

Re: UK trained nurse, midwife and health visitor

<snip>
The first step if you want to practice as a nurse is to get your credentials assessed by the NNAS / SNEI (http://www.NNAS.ca)
Every IEN has to go through this process now before they are...

Moving to Yukon Territory as a Registered Nurse

I've read with great interest forum posts over the years, quietly gathering little pieces of wisdom for the immigration process and getting a license to practice as a nurse. I'm on the last stretch...

Re: Need advice please
