Yes and we didn't include an affidavit, just said the money was a gift in an attached document explaining where money had come from.

Even then i'm not sure it's worth the expense, unless it was a denied spouse application perhaps - the application is very straight forward and past unrelated immigration issues shouldn't impact...

We had our documents scanned at the biometrics appointment.. but I think I’ve heard on here of other people getting them back before their visa. Not 100% sure though.

Ok perfect - so they're in a trust in his name only, so he'll print of bank statements and we'll get a signed letter from the bank stating that
a) the funds are all his
b) he can access them...

Spare page in passport

I know for the spouse visa a blank page is needed in your passport but is it the same for the EEA family permit, or is that a separate card that you carry? Thanks!
