Understand that - but he says CIC have an exception to people living with Canadian Spouses outside the UK.

Some advice will be welcome.

Sadly for the past 4 years we have had to live back in the UK due to my Partners mum be seriously ill. (We all moved back as a unit as she wanted to die in the UK.)

I am very confused. Under the agreement, I had to spend 3 out of 5 years in Canada which seems very unlikely. So I guess i need to reapply for another visa - correct?

Received visa last year and spent a year in Canada. Sadly my partner's mother was taking ill and we had to return to the UK.
