there's a work shortage for teachers here, one of my friends went to school to be a teacher and spent a very long time looking for work, eventually picking up contract jobs teaching English in Korea.

I was waiting for someone to mention Niagara-On-The-Lake :thumbup:. It really is the gem of this area, but its not a realistic place to live as it has a tourism based economy and the housing prices...

Thanks again for your help. My mom wasn't married to my dad when I was born but was rather still married to my brother and sisters dad (whom is also British). So I don't have a marriage certificate...
