Forgot to mention in my previous message - we have been in NZ five and a half years, Annie joined our family six months after our arrival and is a wonderful companion, she has made all the difference...

we have a five year old Beagle, our gorgeous little girl has cruciate ligament problems in both back legs. Our vet has advised surgery after injection and anti-inflammatry tabs did not work...

I was 68 and my husband was 67 when we put our application in April 2008, we arrived in NZ with Permanent Residency visa at the end of November 2009.
