I have no doubt it will settle and I do blame alot of it on the factors mentioned before; weather, small rented accommodation far away from family, every possible cold/cough/flu variation for me DH...

Thanks for the feedback on this so far, I can confirm that to host an Au Pair you must be US Citizens or Permanant Residents.

Thanks for the feedback so far. So if I go through an agency I would hope that they would cover the bulk of things and I just pay them. Will research that.

Yep you'll see lots of ads for Flex 3/Conv 3 etc and they are basically bigger living rooms that can have walls put up to make extra bedrooms.

Yep thats what I would have thought. Now just need to find an agency that doesnt seem to have the requirements of us being Citizens, PR or GC holders.

Thanks Lisa, I have it stipulated in my contract that they will sponsor me. But need to know how to go through the process for my OH too. Of course would want us to both apply at the same time.
