The problem with Sahara Towers is that it is next to a building site (Olya Towers Construction) and surrounded by two of the main roads in Riyadh (Olya & King Fahd).

Bringing perfumes when you travel with you is okay.

However having any liquid shipped into KSA is a problem. It will get stopped at customs.

Used a visa agent. After completing the paperwork and obtaining the relevant visa forms from my employer in Riyadh and medical test etc...the actual visa by saudi embassy in London...

Get paid in local currency (Saudi Riyals)

Complete a P85 form for HMRC (UK) and you will have no tax to pay.

If I remember, this compund was near Olya Street.

Its very central and therefore convenient, what put us off was the noise and the sheer volume of traffic.

My wife has found an ladies teaching institution called "Dar Al Dhikr" based in Sulaymania district, Riyadh, they teach various courses for non Arabs, one of the courses is Arab Language.
