Some one told me that you can also convert an existing tenants lease if they are leaving to you name and the process is relatively easy. Any thoughts around that?

Thanks for sharing your experience. I understand the reference from previous rental agent from New Zealand working, I doubt if the reference from my rental agent from Pakistan would be very helpful...

I am still waiting too. My CO says my external checks are not over. From what I hear they could take anywhere from 8 months to 12..My health test expires in June. I submitted my Form 80 in june 2010...
