Hi,

I wonder before the complition of internal/external checks how could your CO ask for Meicals & PCC, as it could took a too long time for HR applicant. What it appears to me that you would need to retake all this activity, they are taking uncountable times for us. Its really weird.

Hi All March Applicants,

Any Guess how many applicants already migrated to Oz .
I received my grant last year and did my validation trip as well, will migrate by mid June.

Please advise and be in touch through "Meet-ups in Australia".

All the best for all.

Regards
Ahmed

JhonHagen , DrSAS , I think May might be the time when we get our grants. There were a couple of people from HR countries who had a CO in April 2010 and received their grants in April 2011.Lets hope for the best !!!

I dont know how much truth is in this !!! But I have observed that Comp professionals or ACS people have gotten their grants earlier than other professions. What has the trend been for Pakistani Accountants JohnHagen ? Do you have any timeline averages for these professions ?

No Sir, no clue at all for my occupation's time averages.
Compared to IT professionals and Engineers I found very meager quantity of accountants especially from HR countries,, but then again thats just my observation.

Have you contacted your CO recently ? Has he given you a definitive timeframe for the completion of your application ?

Question Re: March 2010 Visa Applicants

When did the CO ever give a definitive timeline to any application?

Case officers cannot give a definitive timeline. There isn't such a thing! All applications are different, and many of them have requirements which are outside of the control of the CO.

John Hagen , when did you send the final version of your Form 80.Plus your signature shows everything met at Feb 2011 , could that mean that your Form 80 was sent for processing at Feb 2011 ? Secondly are you the sole applicant or do you have dependents as well ?

I submitted first form 80 along with the application in march last year then again after the rectifications in april 2010.
During the last year my CO also changed and upon my inquiry in Feb 11 the good CO changed the status immediately to give me an idea that their is some movement in my case. As for Form 80's progress I have a hunch that it started back in April '10.
I applied solo and for my application maybe this is the reason its taking so much time.

It seems people from HR countries have started to receive their grants for 176 Visas who applied during our time. That is a good sign for us .I hope we dont have to wait for months now
