If the sponsorship process is simialr in queenlands to victoria then I sent off my AIR skills assessment first then 2 weeks later sent of the state sponsorship (in the hope they'd come...

I didn't state any trips that where in the European Union, as British citizens you dont need a visa for the 27 country block. I didn't have any problems with obtaining my aussie visa.

My partner and have lived togther for 2 years and had no problems getting a 176 visa.

We kept our own bank accounts and had a joint one for bills (wasnt questioned at all).

We provided tenancy...

My medical cost £520 for myself and my partner... Certain professions (medical) mean you need to take additional blood tests, which costs a bit extra.

When my visa was granted the immigration office suggested contacting the IOM to help with airfare discounts and / or additional luggage allowance.

Has anyone used this agency? I'm awaiting a quote...

My case officer requested additonal information (pay slips etc)... I replied to the original email and got a reply to let me know the information had been received.

To be able to submitt the 176 visa, a SS must of have been done first...

I read a lot of negative threads about the process centres I just wanted to share that they had processed my application...

I was talking about the processing times at the processing centre...

The skills assessment was done in 8weeks eariler this year.

No trying to offend anyone just thought I'd share.
