Re: Spouse Visa Circle continued - Dec 2010 onwards

I filled in my forms on the PC last year - I was (if memory serves) advised to do so by my agent - with no issues.

Re: Airlines, Avoid or use

Some great advice on this thread. We'll be (hopefully) making the trip to Australia in 3 months or so and any information on airlines is very welcome. We will be travelling with a baby too so keep...

Re: Whits yir plans fur the bells?

Most likely going to bed at before 22:30 and then moaning at the cheap, crappy fireworks that will be going off at midnight. Generally not caring.

Re: What did Santa leave in your stocking????

Something that a lot of people could do with reading, particularly 'management' at my work:

Re: Spouse Visa Circle continued - Dec 2010 onwards

We are hopefully a couple of months from getting my visa granted and making the move to Tassie.

My wife has raised the question of 'what if they don't give you the visa'. We're going for the 100...

Re: Would you have dated your SO in high school?

Without question. I was 34 when I met my wife, I wish we had met sooner.*

*She's from Tassie and I'm from England, so we'll imagine we weren't on opposite sides of the planet.

Re: The Bah Humbug, Scrooge is my hero, thread....

Forced fun. I maintain a nice grumpy level all year round, I'm not going to change because its December. People trying to get me to sing songs on the train home - if it were July, you'd try and mug...

Re: Wherever you be....

I say let it out. At home, it's fire at will. If we're out somewhere, I employ the 'mirror, signal, manoeuvre' method. Check front, check behind, small lift of the leg, let it go.

Re: J Clarkson

I think JC is a bellend and have for a long time.

BUT, this is a non-story, a load of old rubbish IMHO. Funny how pretty much all of the media over here in the UK have directed their focus to the...

Re: countdown emigrating in Feb - SO SCARED!!!!!!

We (me, wife and 5 month old son) are going to be moving in March/April.

I'm not scared about it one bit, if I'm honest. BUT, I do have the luxury of being married to an Australian so we'll have...

Re: would you still apply for OZ citizenship if....

Yeah I'd chuck it in if I had to.

I'm 36 and have lived in SE England all my life. I met my (now) wife 2.5 years ago and have no intention of not being with her until they carry me out in a box....

Re: Spouse Visa Circle continued - Dec 2010 onwards

I asked my case officer person the same thing, as we'll be selling our house before we move and there's a chance I might get redundancy from my job, which could mean that we travel with £25K or more...

Re: Is anyone still moving without a job offer

My wife, son and I will be heading off to Tassie once we get my visa through. Neither my wife nor I will have jobs when we land and it's not a huge issue for us at all. Mind, my wife is originally...

Re: September 2011 visa applications (merged threads)

I submitted my application for a class 100 last month. I've spent the last few days chasing the hospital who sent my medical results to the AHC and they got 'lost' somewhere. Very frustrating as we...

Afternoon all,

I did ask a question on here over a year ago but didn't really spend a lot of time on here after that.

But, my visa application is now with the AHC and the clock has started. My...

Hi,

Just joined up here as my girlfriend and I are looking to move to Tassie next year (she's from Tassie and wants to go back). I'm pretty fed up with my non-existent live over here in England so...
