Love him or hate him, we need people like Clarkson for balance, bit like on BE - can you imagine if we were all happy clappies like Amazulu.

I really like Clarkson and think he's very funny, although I think he went a bit too far this time, especially the "in front of their families" bit. However, there was also a report about the unions intimidating non-striking staff by sending out emails calling them blacklegs and scabs which in my opinion is pretty offensive too, although there wasn't much publicity about it.
Also, what the hell were the Beeb thinking by interviewing him on a live show when he is such a loose cannon!

I think JC is a bellend and have for a long time.
BUT, this is a non-story, a load of old rubbish IMHO. Funny how pretty much all of the media over here in the UK have directed their focus to the second part of what he said, about shooting people in front of their families. I can't reproduce what he said verbatim, but it was along the lines of 'the strike was a good thing, there were less people around but, this being the BBC, we have to offer a balanced view so I think they should be shot'

(Sheene, I think you misunderstood me, I like Jezza, even if he does have a dodgy perm and really should stop wearing jeans)
