I am from Sydney. In my case, I applied on May 04, got a response from the Immigration office the next day 05 May and asked me to sit for test on May 09 and application got approved on that day....

I moved here from the States. FBI clearance has nothing to do with credit history. What is recorded in FBI clearance are any reports by the local up to federal level authorities.
