Milwaukee EAD error, help please

Hello....
We travelled 1 1/2 hours today to Milwaukee to collect my first EAD, which we did apparently without a problem.

Travelled home to our local social security office to apply for a s/s...

Thank you mrtravel.... the US consulate help line said the same thing today. They did say however that if she was to file seperately later it could take 'several years' !... But the guy was confusing...

Just reading the consulate web site Rete... it does say that I could travel to wait in the US only if the I-130 is NOT approved... hence not waiting until it is approved....

Obviously they do not...
