Yeah I was in Canada when we got married. From sending in my application to becoming a landed immigrant, it took 5 months.

I married my Canadian wife in May 09 and we sent off the application in August 09. We hadn't been living together for 12 months and our application went through without any problems.

Yeah, it says on the status 'Medical results received.'

It's all been very quick.

Paperwork was received on 24th August '09.
