Sounds similer to us. We really cant stand the weather here even in so called mild west coast it is cold and nasty in the single digits and raining all the time.
In alot of ways it was better back...

weather wise most of canada is not good and even the lower moanland (vancouver area) is pretty dark and dreary for the winter . if you like rain go to the westcoast if you like cold go north or east....

I was actually thinking more deer , pigs , rabbits and other edible introduced species. Fish should be interesting with 4000 or so species in australia I should be able to catch something LOL .

make sure you validate even if it is a quick trip for a few days that way you have your options open. Dont look at it as a holiday look at it as part of completing your migration application.

initial entry as the first date and then says "must not arrive after xx xx date" and the multiple...
