We received a letter from our local CIC office (Kelowna), saying to use the attached IMM 5455 form. There was NO attached form! So we had to apply for the form on line. You can't download...

Hi Mark,

Yes, it's the photos that you've already supplied that are used.

Unfortunately we used photo booth pictures with our application, and these were not acceptable as far as the PR card...

So really, the B4 is a "goods accompanying" form and when you put a check in the box, it becomes a "goods to follow" form! Ingenious! What will those Canadians think of next?!!

I think we are going to transfer our OEIC's and ISA's into cash ISA's, or a good old instant access savings account.
We were hoping not to have to "cash" anything in at the moment...

I don't think there is an online course. I could be wrong. Most people taking the test use the TEF books and cd's to brush up there French. They're very good and give you an idea of the format...
