Thanks for your answer. We applied on shore (801). I know the waiting times are up to 22 months but one never knows :), that's why we wanted to be sure we wouldn't miss any response from the immi.

Because they might ask us to change our application from prospective to partner (married couple) visa and we can't fulfill the requirements..

(And don't ask me why on earth we would get married....
