The smoking ban has had an effect on the pub trade, I know a good friend of mine who owns a small local put lost a good chunk of the regulars who were smokers.

That said I believe pubs are pricing...

IIRC Spain has a surplus of qualified nurses so you may have a better chance if you are a specialist nurse?

The wife and I have been a good few times, a wonderful city. McDonalds and Burger King are on every corner but keep away from them and the English/Irish pub bars and you can eat well for not a lot...
