It is constant irrespective of the amount with HSBC Premier (even 1 gbp). That is why I wondered if it was also constant with HSBC GetRate.

Actually if getrate is independent of volume it may be a good choice for small amount transfers. Does anyone know if this is the case?

OK so can you just show the getrate for gbp to aud vs the interbank rate. That would enable a true comparison of their margins. If not then I remain sceptical.

Section 20 is for foreign source income and assets so it’s unlikely that you would get to question 20p without declaring income first. So income etc. could be declared whatever the value of assets...

My flu injection was free (over 65) but had to pay $60 to see a doctor to say it was ok for the nurse to give it.

I have been having flu injections for over 40 years and never had to see a doctor...

Having now tried the service I'm very impressed. The best exchange rates I have seen, no minimum amount, (100k USD equivalent maximum) and an instant transfer into the Oz account.
