I didn't say I wanted necessarily to be near Brits, just that I hadn't met any, which in seven years is, I would have thought, unusual. Many of the small towns in this part of Ontario were settled...

I believe it because a lady I worked with who is a First Nations lady pays no taxes....I used to go shopping with her, and saw for myself; she also told me why because until then I had no idea about...

Except in England you don't get papers (like you do in Canada) to show that you have sold property, and therefore need to get proof by way of declarations or an invoice from your solicitor.

Sorry, but you're wrong! It's something that goes against the norm that is the issue...or a new account that has a large amount deposited into it

If this is the norm where your bank account is concerned then questions won't be asked.......it's when the account is a new one OR when a larger than usual deposit is made.
