For the amount that it would cost to rent, even if I buy a house and it loses money, I still will not lose as much as what it cost to rent a place. As for not tying myself down, in the last 5 years...

I was told the return of service was 100% of the $11,000 upto one year then a decressing percentage untill the five year point. I would think 80% after a year, 60% after two years etc..
