The information is on immigration website with regards the 3 month RRV http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/residents/155/eligibility.htm. If you read it, it clearly states must meet one of the criteria....

by the way immediate family is described as brother, sister, mother, father so i will still need to sponsor my partner !!

for the 3 month RRV you only need to meet one criteria including being the immediate family member of an RRV holder

no they dont have PR i am sponsoring my partner and kids. the criteria for a 3 month RRV to be issued is you dont have to have held PR but you need to be an immediate family member of a RRV holder....

that is what the officer in Perth told me on friday and TBH i dont believe everything they tell me not after the years of conflicting info i have had. I have copied the new requirements from immi's...

the immigration officer has told me i have to sponsor my spouse and children all in one application, but i'm going to call them up again as immediate family members of an RRV holder can also apply...

Hi i'm in WA and have just asked at my 11year olds school about kindy for our son, he is 3 and will be 4 in september. He will not be able to start until Feb 2012 he has to be turning 4 by July 30th....

immigration told me they do not cancel visa's when an application for another one is lodged, they are only cancelled if the rules are breached. When you apply for another visa the original one...

Thanks for that Safin, yeah my fathers business does meet all the criteria so does my partner, we are just a bit concerned with it being a relative, but everything is genuine and legal so hopefully...
