the reason for upping the age from 30 to 35 is to bring in more money or the australian economy and if that is the case why are they not reviewing the 12 out of the last 24 mths work experience...

i think you will find on all the employment sites there is a mention that australia have a serious skills shortage as does new zealand. 150 thousand skilled trades needed over the next 5 years.

yes i know its a pain but of course it will be worth it if u get there,we were very green starting off and put all our trust in one company who let us down very badly and left us with a debt of 6000...

sounds to me chris that you were talking to a company that only wants your money, judging by the prices you were quoted! you should'nt really be charged any more than 2 or 3 thousand if is a mara...

i recently attended a working abroad expo.after an hour in a queue for one immigration company, we were told that my oh aqf cert 111 was now invalid and had to be redone in the uk at a cost of 2200...
