considering flying to oz on a holiday visa, looking for a sponsored job whilst there, securing sponsorship and flying home to continue the process.anyone done this with success?. would be expensive but worth a go ??

I have read a few job search/recruitment websites that have recommended this approach, even for people who travel on holiday for a few weeks.

I would imagine it's a fairly common idea, but it is still the case that many employers won't be interested until you have got a 'proper' visa. Of course it all depends on how special your skills are???
