Linking up UK pension

Hello, I'm trying to link up my few years of UK work (10 years) to my few years here in Italy (probably about the same). When I went to the CAF office they told me I need to bring in all details of...

Hi everyone,
quick question: how do I phone a 0370 xxx xxxx number in the UK? I mean, what is the dialling code and what bits do I leave out?
I don't want to pay for various wrong attempts!

Re: photographer in Rome for UK passport

Thanks for all the replies. I tend to think the booths should be avoided because of what was said above. I suppose we can find a photographer open somewhere by now - certainly the last two weeks...

We've been watching it every Friday night and we're in the middle of season 6, but suddenly you can't get it in English. The...

Re: getting bacon sent

Actually, I'm trying to avoid asking relatives to post bacon! I already ask for too many favours.
The mayonnaise problem is solved by getting an order from one of the many companies which ship it....

A long time ago there was a thread on how to get food delivered from the UK. So far I've had 3 parcels from British food direct and have no complaints.
I remember, though, that some people were...

Re: British Passport

How on earth did you manage to get an Italian identity card for travel in Europe? Are you or the children also Italian?
Our cards always say on the back that they are not valid for travel abroad....

Re: British Passport

I know lots of people who get the passport by post, I think it costs less too.
But am I wrong in thinking that technically it's not allowed? Isn't there a bit where you have to sign to say you are...

I would at least take advantage of the Italian elementary school, you can always switch later. There's alot of fuss about changing the primary...

Re: italy here i come!!

It won't even get you that in Rome. You won't find much below 450, and that's just the rent, doesn't include condominium, lighting, gas etc.
But good luck!

Re: Moving to Rome (cost of living?)

Yeah, it's part of the economic cycle. Marx said that too. It's called capitalism. Doesn't mean it's OK though, the sky is still falling for lots of people.
As regards your search for flats.... The...

Re: Moving to Rome (cost of living?)

You'd have to do a search for apartments in Rome. I don't know much about serviced apartments. If you mean what they call a residence I think the prices are about 2000-3000 euro for a month, but...

Re: PERMESSO DI SOGGIORNO
