I don't think anybody here would treat "foreigners" from Britain as suspicious. We have a lot of Brits here. So if you look pretty Waspy and sound British you'll be fine :P

Basically, you can't work whether you are married to a Bajan or not until you are a citizen. You may work once you have a workpermit, but the country doesn't care AT ALL if you're married in regards...

you can start the process IMMEDIATELY after getting married. Once you apply, it takes minimum 1 year until you have an interview and about 2-3 years after the interview before citizenship is granted.

Well the woman at the airport didn't even look in my passport, and there's no stamp. So they certainly don't know that I overstayed my welcome. I'll be back on the island visiting soon enough!

Actually... as there is no stamp in the passport to specifically say that i overstayed my welcome, how would they possibly know when i re-enter... so theres no way they could know to prevent me from...
